A sea š of boxes!
Itās been about a week since my familyās move to the new place. Moving day was a grueling 12 hours! We filled 2 moving trucks! I didnāt think we had that much stuff. I got rid of so much⦠My mom still has to move in her stuff.
Sometimes itās hard to breathe when I think about what is left to be done. Our house needs to be cleaned and rented out. I need to help my mom purge and pack. Then help with my momās big move. Then help unpack her stuff!
When I start to feel overwhelmed, I think about how I am not promised tomorrow, so why worry about it? Tomorrow has enough worry of its own! Focus on one day at a time. Only think about the work to do each day and it will eventually all get done. This has helped me tremendously through many difficult times in my life. When I look back, I wonder how I did it. The truth is I had help from God who kept me sane and at peace. šš»
My daughter Emily came over for an entire day and helped me unpack and set up my art room. Iām so blessed to have such a helpful and talented daughter! After we were finished, we had tea together at the tea table we set up!ā¤ļøāļø
This space has such beautiful light and an amazing view! I canāt wait to spend time on the balcony overlooking the water. Ā It needs š± šŖ“ plants! Itās a place of inspiration. I am truly blessed. Ā I canāt wait to start creating again!
The movers had a heck of a time getting my giant heavy cabinet up the stairs! We cheered at their accomplishment!
I will share more about the house as it unfolds!
Thanks for reading! ššš»
See you next time!
