In my fine art photograph titled Apple Tree, a girl stands beneath a bountiful apple tree, its branches heavy with fruit, captured in a dreamy black-and-white film aesthetic. This image invites you to reflect on the beauty of nature and the simple joys that life has to offer.

This image was photographed in the Southern Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina. I used a large format 8x10 view camera with an 1800’s brass Petzval lens. I hand developed the black and white film in my darkroom. I call this camera “Sally”.
