Mini hand painted Crown
These adorable minis are printed on Mulberry paper and hand embellished with gold ink by Erika They are approx. 3x5 inches. Don't miss out on these sweet original minis! This one comes in adorable antique gold frame! In my fine art photograph Crown, a girl is beautifully merged with a vibrant red flower that rests upon her head like a sacred crown. This striking image serves as a powerful reminder of the divine glory bestowed upon us as daughters of the King, inviting you to celebrate the unique beauty and strength found in your identity in Christ.
The red flower symbolizes the passion and life that Christ offers us—a reflection of the abundant grace we receive through our faith. Just as Scripture tells us in 1 Peter 5:4, "And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory," this photograph encourages you to recognize that your spiritual crown is not just a symbol but a testament to your worth and purpose in Him.
Crown invites you to reflect on your identity as a beloved child of God and the honor of walking in His light. The merging of the girl and the flower signifies the deep connection between nature and our spiritual identity, reminding us to nurture our relationship with Christ and embrace the divine calling placed upon our lives.
By bringing this piece into your space, you create an atmosphere of inspiration and spiritual empowerment. Let Crown serve as a daily reminder that you are adorned with a crown of glory in Christ, called to shine your light in the world.
Join me in celebrating the incredible truth of our identity in Him. Allow this photograph to inspire you to honor your journey, embrace your divine purpose, and flourish in the glory that is yours through Christ.
These special 1 of 1 original art pieces are printed on beautifully textured Mulberry paper. The paper is 22x31 inches. The process begins with treating the Mulberry either with an oyster shell pigment, hand made by Erika, or a golden paint. The original created image is then printed on a special transparency film with Epson Ultrachrome ink, tested to last over 200 years. The transparency goes through a special process, transferred onto the Mulberry paper. During this process wrinkles occur that add to the depth and texture of the art. Once dried and prepped, Erika then hand paints on the image with gold ink and other acrylic.
The printing process is as much an art as the creation of the images themselves. I start with a solid foundation of Mulberry Paper. Mulberry is a tough wood that resists rot and bugs, and the paper does not tear easily. The Mulberry tree has a significant meaning of the transforming power of faith. The wrinkles/cracks in the paper that occur during the transfer process symbolize brokenness. These cracks add beauty and character to the finished work as true beauty comes through brokenness. The translucence of the flora gives us a glimpse of what is beneath the surface of the human spirit. The layering of my images with human and flora embodies a divine longing for connection with nature. The process reveals to us the revelation of beauty in brokenness and prepares the way for beauty to take hold and entangle us.
